Gray hair usually appears as part of the natural aging process, although it can also appear prematurely due to factors such as stress, genetics, or hormonal changes.

Faced with this situation, many people have begun looking for alternatives that do not damage the hair and that, at the same time, provide a uniform look without the need to resort to industrial products.

Recently, a homemade method has gained popularity for its effectiveness in gradually darkening the hair and providing shine without using harsh chemicals. This method can be made at home with ingredients that are easy to obtain.

Black tea works as a natural pigment that adheres to the hair fiber, creating a darker tone that disguises gray hair from the first application. Its intense color allows it to cover white strands gently and progressively, without altering the structure of the hair.

Step-by-step guide: how to prepare homemade black tea dye to cover gray hair

With clean, dry hair, apply the tea from roots to ends, massaging so the pigment can penetrate properly. It should be left on for 30 to 45 minutes and rinsed out without using shampoo. For a more intense result, it is suggested to repeat this process three times a week until the desired coverage is achieved.

To prepare it, place four black tea bags in a pot with two cups of water and boil for ten minutes to concentrate the pigment as much as possible. Once cool, strain it and pour the liquid into a spray bottle or a bowl.
