However, those who began receiving benefits before May 1997 usually get paid on the 3rd of each month, with adjustments when applicable. There are also special rules for those who receive both Social Security and SSI.

The last regular Social Security payment scheduled for October 2026 will be on Wednesday, October 28. On that date, beneficiaries born between the 21st and the 31st of any month who are part of the Wednesday payment schedule will be paid.
